I pointed this out to the judge, and she backed down - honestly, she was trying every which way she could to figure out how she could throw out the suit!

Most of the homes in the area (Oakland City, SW Atlanta) are 3bd homes, and ours is 5bd 3.5 bath including a master suite and an in-law suite.The most comparable homes in terms of features that I have found are in NE Atlanta, but the difference in location (NE vs SW) makes me think twice about basing the numbers on those comps.Does any one know of a good way to estimate rent for recently renovated properties in the SW Atlanta area or does anyone have rental properties in SW Atlanta?

I find myself looking for houses in good school district only and find it hard to get a good deal obviously.2) What do guys think of houses with swimming pool ?

The main building has a mother-in-law suite.

If unable to find a true duplex or more, get creative and start looking for homes with mother in law suites that have separate entrances.

How about adding an en-suite bathroom within the existing walls of a 2/1.

Also, the house had a bonus room and half bath on the first floor which I saw the opportunity to turn into a second master's suite.

I bought my first property in Charleston,SC last year and it has an in-law suite, as well as opportunity to split the home down the middle and separate it even more.
