I also know that in many cases the llc will protect my personal assets and I fully believe this is either analysis paralysis or just fear of failure.Thoughts on how to get past this and where you recommend starting?

Hi Gustavo, it really varries for each person.

We are all different due to life experiences, skills we have learned, and our individual strengths and weaknesses.  

If you can't keep control of your personal finances, you are highly unlikely to succeed in real estate investing.

The average person can totally achieve financial independence easily with education, self-discipline, and consistency. 

., like a lot of these mastermind groups will push but you're just jumping into the rally with 20 other investors all racing to the bottom on stock properties later in life.

So instead of paying the bank for a home equity line of credit on my first home and paying them interest, I was able to use a personal loan to myself via my employer 403b and pay myself back with interest. 

I got quoted $1490 yearly cost plus a $30/mo retainer to have unlimited access to my personal real estate accountant.  

Personally, I like the all-in-one units but they are expensive and poorly suited for larger units where it will take forever to get a load of laundry done (since you can't move the clothes from the washer to the dryer).
