What kind of kitchen cabinets do you guys use and where do you get them?

The issue with this is there's a 3-hour window of waiting that is killed for you/your contractor/handyman.

These are old, almost always brick-veneer properties that have a lot of life left in them but have lacked the kind of maintenance they need, especially in recent years.The subflooring in these houses is typically diagonal 1-inch pine plank and they were originally finished with 3/4-inch tongue-in-groove oak strip from end to  end, bedrooms and bathrooms and kitchens alike.

It's building with bricks windows, flooring, tiles, and location.

Hey @Kate Zieverink, so I spent a ton of time researching so we basically did everything right the first time.One thing I highly recommend is make the kitchen the best.

A twin bed fits in there nicely and its a decent layout with a closet and a window but it is SMALL.

All major components replaced within 5 years expect windows.

This property is a condo that needs rehabbing (kitchen, bathroom, flooring, paint, hvac etc) down to lighting/plumbing fixtures. 

Fast forward after reading Rich Dad Poor DaD I realized if I bought my first home the cons would be-Liability rather than Asset-Long commute which wouldn't allow me to NOT come home 3 days a week due to Mandatory OTPros- We have our own space and privacy and not be in each others way using kitchen and kitchen table etc.Sorry for ranting, Just trying to figure out whats the best options to meet financial freedom earlier than waiting on my retirement at age of 58 and ultimately have our own place.FYI, I don't carry enough capital for a good area in the bay area for a 20 percent down but carry close to 800 in credit.Any advice is greatly appreciated!
