We know it'll be a slow process, and one or both of us might need to teach for a few more years after the move as we transition, but it's our hope and dream to spend more time with our (I can't emphasize this enough - feisty, feisty, zesty-level feisty) little redheads. 

I was all ready to dive into my dream house until I started hearing about how troublesome the business can be in this area.

Many options out there for those who want to build dream homes but nothing much for investors looking for builder grade finishes. 

From what I've gathered from talking to my neighbors is that the owner has not gone inside the property for 20 years, all utilities have been shut off, the owner is 70 years old, and none of the neighbors talk to him enough anymore to know where he currently lives, but they know he has turned down previous offers because he doesn't want the property to get torn down.I can't stop dreaming about owning this property.

After finding BP I am newly inspired to follow my dreams once and for all and buy my first flip.

Not to debate or anything, but my advice is that I wouldn't listen to people who say "don't jump in to this, learn for years before you start"... the ones who don't jump in and take risks don't ever go anywhere or make their dreams reality. 

My question is: we created an LLC to support our future Rehab and Flipping dreams.

We ended up selling for a sizable profit, plus the sale of our other house to buy our dream home.
