Prices rose to levels above pre-crash in a matter of 2-3 years and in the past 6-9 months prices have been decreasing already in some areas(~10%), both for condos and SFH.It will be interesting to see what the correction is for condos.

You probably need to follow Axel Rose's advice and have a little patience while you let some of this grow, assuming you're not eating off the profits from the rentals.

In talking to my tax lady that 50k throws me into another tax bracket which has me losing all my tax benefits with my real estate investments and I'll be owning the IRS 18k.

Most investors will tell you that seldom happens, but the folks I've heard from who have been in this game since the 70s have been around when the interest rates rose dramatically.
