I am wondering if everything in the Ultimate Beginner's Guide and other real estate books for beginners that were written a decade or more ago still completely apply to nowadays investing.

Are there specific topics you think more people in the space should know about that we could open up for discussion?

I am interested in adding to my STR portfolio and helping my family increase the revenue of their existing investments as well!

Hey @Devin Bost, I would highly recommend a few things to help with this. 1) Have systems and processes lined out for any emergency you can think of.2) A spreadsheet of subcontractors/ vendors that could handle the situation that arises (plumbing leak, electric out somewhere, etc.)3) Your cleaning team and handy person should be utilized for some things.4) Something like Breezeway can give you 24/7 support around your property with a dedicated phone number line.

I haven't signed up, but I've met a couple people who have and they were glowing about it being super helpful and an engaging community.

(This is when we had a glut of rehabs and didn’t want to add any more to our plate.)

I only have two more Spanish classes left to complete my degree, but since they must be taken consecutively, I have extra time on my hands.
