Besides their Covid refunding last year and their lax attitude toward guests scamming hosts, their announcement last week about making owners pay the difference for relocating a guest made me want to avoid them all together.

There are a host of ways to fill lots, with each strategy requiring less or more of your time.

It's very annoying, and it's not like we host parties or anything like that.

What worked for me was just asking the more senior agents in the firm if I could host their open houses and retain any buyers that showed up without agents - If they know you're doing it full time and come off as professional, most agents will be happy to opt out of doing an open house on a weekend and give you a chance.

However, my questions revolve around managing multiple guests under one roof - I’d love to chat with anyone who may have hosted a multi-family on Airbnb.
