You can always paint the exterior even if your property is already occupied. 

I like how the focus is on developing a long term revenue stream, as opposed to flipping which may net more cash in the short term but would need to be invested again for any growth to occur.

If they’re proprietary and can be proved that their new project imulates yours, it can be a hefty fine and/or revocation of the design for the opposing entity. 

The house isn't very big so to paint the exterior would not be very much.. if it did exceed $1000, I would prefer to do it myself.
