I'm a wholesaler still wet behind the ears but I'm learning as I go without paying for any type of mentorship, what I learn from others here on BP has a been a great source of information.

But you have put your ear to the streets and listen to the chatter contact some Realtor in the chicago area and as them Iwould say check out Englewood and bronszville 

Maybe chat with an agent about what you're looking for, as it couldn't hurt to have a set of eyes and ears looking out for you and sending you what comes available.

Having a reasonable ear to the ground and thinking you're buying at a good price is different from wishing it to happen, since you don't have any way of knowing when you're at the bottom or when you've reached the top.
