The major neighborhoods off the top of my head are Black Rock, Riverside, West Side, North Buffalo, University Heights, Kensington, LoveJoy, Kiasertown, South Buffalo, First Ward, Downtown, Allentown, Elmwood Strip, Delaware, and the Fruit Belt.

After university (MS EE), at age 26, I set a goal to have $x assets by age 35, $2x assets by age 40.  

I graduated from the University of Texas and have worked in web work, network engineering and hospitality management.

Perhaps better opportunity in surrounding markets although I believe anything in a 3mile radius of the university will always be rented.
