Generally, cases in which an arms-length sale transaction sets the value are slam-dunk cases, but they will almost never grant a reduction without a sale (you have to appeal by phone).

Now- Should you keep this deal or ask for a price reduction?

If not, a frosted, operable, vinyl window would be preferable to glass block with a small vent opening for reduction of humidity and aesthetics.  

I am not so sure that we are headed for any sort of major price reduction.  

On a tactical level, if they just did the price reduction a few days ago they probably won't budge much.  

GE is a solid company and the reduction in dividends created billions in savings to GE.
