I figure if I can start doing some work with real estate professionals in this capacity along with getting my license and practicing, I can gain more clarity and experience.Any advice?

Don't pay anymore than 125 unless they are giving you a bundle.I used reedc.com (real estate education center) online for 85 just for the 75 hour course and bought a Barron's book with practice exams and a lot of study material for 22..Good luck!

Especially if they are not YOUR PM, that sounds a lot like the unauthorized practice of law to me, but what do I know.If it were me I'd get an attorney, no question.

I do remember studying practice tests and it was very helpful.

My Wife and I have a couple SFR's in a part of an Indiana town that is perfect to rent to college students.

I put my self through college as an apartment maintenance man, and after graduation managed a large apartment complex in KCMO.  

Do I go to college and get a degree then get a job, pay off my loans for another 5 years then after I'm done start real estate ?
