Placement fees also is not one month rent like it's around here, something like $200-300I didn't believe her - she sent me a copy of PM agreement.Also, she's very happy with the PM company - she works at a demanding job and was a relief for her.

I make decent money at my job, a little above household average, but I needed to make more.

She has a full time job and we have 3 kids, so I found other things she enjoyed about real estate to get her involved (and talked about it constantly).For example, I found she loves looking through the MLS and driving for dollars together, so I really latched onto that. 

While you are at it be clear about what your goals and objectives are for doing MF in the first place-and no, I want to quit my day job is not good enough!

@Sam Shueh thank you for your advice and I have a full time job.

My advice would be to get a good paying job. 

I would participate in the project without financial part - providing help and doing different tasks just to watch the process and learn.
