What general contractor recommendation have you used in the past that can pull a permit with the City of Chicago that you recommend?

The purchase of the unit is going to be sooner a few months, you could wait to rehab both at the same time which could potentially help reduce the costs of the rehab. 

Recording all the information in the world on short term rentals isn’t going to help you if you get into long term rentals and vice versa.
