I would also contact "code enforcement" or the equivalent in your city/town and they should be able to give you some guidance and may even recommend a certain towing company that handles these cases often.

I thought I would have some equity to pull but I am shocked that i cannot pull from that...I called a buddy of mine in the banking industry and he told me I could pull about 9-10k...Learn something new everyday.The location of the two single family homes is a 50/50 type area...There are some good parts and some bad parts...they are near the Uni of Memphis so that zip code seems to hold its value pretty well.

You also need a basic understanding of contract law, local laws regarding agency (if you are planning on using a real estate agent), minimum housing codes for your locale, Fair Housing, and more.IF you have a valid, written, current lease or rental agreement, there should be nothing preventing you from enforcing all of the terms within the contract.
