Mean while in those 2 years you are fixing the property makeing it beautiful (but make sure you don't over do it check around your area and see how the market is and what you are selling against).

I remember about 6 years ago seeing things were changing around Point Breeze (with the onset of Newbold) but my buddy just bought a beautiful renovated house (for primary residence) seemingly in the middle of Point Breeze.
