It was a nice one month visit!

It still baffles me that people read for, visit, study, etc. and don't contribute or post at all.

I live in los angeles but I'm seeking investment property in that area since I grew up in Chicago and I go home every year to try to visit family and catch a Cubs game.

The next phase in our plan consists of connecting with potential attorneys, accountants, brokers, and property managers, so when we fly out to these markets after the COVID-19 Quarantine ends we will be able to have meetings lined up and properties to visit. 

Just visit all listed properties on loopnet and Zillow.  

On a side note, my family and I visit Williamsburg several times a year (well before COVID-19), which isn't that far from Hampton Roads.

As our clients (and us too) are always concerned with theft, and not just theft but someone unlocking a door or window during a visit and then having a party the next weekend etc....we do not do this.Not saying it isn't a great way to go, just be sure you think about security and not just about the front door.  

Usually the day of or the day after the on-site visit. 

You have been extremely helpful on other post gathering a ton of info for which I thank you ( thank you Mike).Now it's time to go there and see and visit a few locations and developments, compare and hopefully decide.Now, I haven't been able to find reliable information about taxation on rentals for non residents or alternative channels for the investments.Alm I read is that , as a a non resident individual, rental incomes are taxes at 25% with no possible deduction. 

Success starts with good tenant placement and is assured with a good thorough contract.
