I read Rich Dad Poor Dad after I graduated college... three years ago.

I wasn't too worried about the debt as I made pretty decent money with work and would be able to pay it off fairly quickly knowing that we were now in our dream house in our dream neighborhood.  

I had to move quickly to re-insure this property, but the quote is more expensive.

But much like the 2% rule for monthly rent or 50% of gross income going to bills we have these things for quick evaluation. 

Once my eyes were open to this about a month ago, it has quickly become a passion of mine.

I’d like to hear if people think the following is a viable strategy for quick buying and reselling residential properties.

This is another deal where Capella earned over $100K in origination fees, the loan quickly went bad, and now Capella principal Corrine Cordon looks to further enrich herself by buying out investor interests at a discount (offering 75 cents on the investor dollar).

Just another "tax" aimed to get money from the "rich real estate investor" when in reality it will simply hurt the renters. 

I can see your misfortune on that first property as the foundation for your ability to execute quickly and efficiently on your subsequent projects once you realized the value in doing so. 

A quick conversation with whichever municipal employee makes that call should give you some good insight as to whether it's worth pursuing.
