How do your costs compare for the 2 platforms?  

I am a huge proponent of the alarm.com platform In conjunction with a Qolsys control panel.

If conventional financing is not feasible, maybe this project would be viable on a crowdfunding platform? 

If you use a platform that lets you create one property listing and syndicate it out across numerous channels, you can focus on creating one killer ad and then you can reuse it every time the property is vacant.

Personal loan from a family member or friend or try peer-to-peer lending platforms to raise the capital you need. 

However, the most flexible solution I have found to date is a particular crowdfunding platform.

Account Closed, you seem to be promoting this specific crowdfunding platform quite heavily across BP.

Just an FYI: BP rules require you to disclose if you have any relationship with the service provider and do not allow to use this platform to create a list of lead...

Check out the networking/events tab on BP and see if there's any groups on FB or another social networking platform to see if you can start a group more local to you.
