The reason I recommend going with someone with experience in that state is because, procedurally, the acquisition process/timeline varies from state to state and sometimes, county to county - e.g. appraisal timeline, inspection periods, title review timeline, projected closing timeline etc.All the best!

@Paul LaForgiaBelow are some tips to find a Local CPA that specializes in real estate1) Attend a Local REIA / Real Estate meetup and see who other investors are using as a CPA2) Network with other investors from your City/State that you find on bigger pockets and see who they use as a CPA3) Look for CPA's with good google/yelp reviews where 'real estate' is mentioned in the review.4) Verify that your CPA is licensed.

Open up the first two pages worth of websites, sent a email enquiry or call the firm, and it’s either “we aren’t taking on new clients” or “yes I can set you up with a $2k retainer to review the bill and other associated codes”.
