I have no experience in real estate investing and looking for like-minded individuals and mentors to help me succeed.When I retire from military service, I do not want to work a full time job in order to live comfortably.

Because my hubby and I have a significant age gap (I'm younger), and he never saved for retirement until he met me. 

I own no houses, but am in the process of investing some of my retirement funds with Holdfolio and I also invest with Groundfloor.  

He now makes all his income through various avenues of the equine industry and he's seeking help to get on the right path in various ways, taxes, retirement, investing, etc. 

They may also offer segmented services (such as retirement planning only) for a lesser price.

Although we will both be “retired” from public school employment, we will want to continue working.  

In an area I buy in there is a retired couple who buy and remodel historic homes.

Perhaps the only thing I need is to retire to Fla. buy a NICE FISHING boat or perhaps an ASTON-MARTIN and just sit in it with a BIG SMILE on my Face

That's retirement and is a goal for many folks.I can fully understand not wanting to be a broker.
