The contractor who “assured” me he would order his guys to stop working and not talk to a city official if one showed up was also the one who skipped the job when he landed a bigger one.I know that’s not every situation, but to me, wouldn’t it just be better to have them pulled?

Every asbestos project I have ever had inspected or known of any other having had inspected we always received 2 reports; first the verbal or e-mail report of what inspector found and took samples of believing there may be asbestos, than the official finalized report with the lab results per tested area.
