I am looking at purchasing a 18 unit building and Pulling collateral from another property to pay the down payment. Well my lender just messaged me and said with everything going on in the world I would need 35% down ...

In my experience I like to advise that clients be prepared to invest at least 25% of the purchase price into rehab to safely force enough appreciation to then pull all cash out. 

Now, your FHA lender should know this..and should be able to advise you on this...have you spoken with them about this by chance?
