We're open to both long term rental tenants and short term using Air B&B for example.The kids will be enrolled in North Port which is the only reason we dont purchase in Tampa which shows to have a great market, so trying to stay within 30 minutes travel time from North Port area.My biggest problem is paying rent for about a year, when we can just as easily put it towards a mortgage if there is an area that makes sense close by long term.

MacDill Air Force Base is at the Southern Tip of the South Tampa Peninsular and serves as US Central Command with many, many military families and civilian contractors.

Tampa is fairly hot right now.

We're getting paid nicely, but they have created many nuisance violations, overheat the place to 80 degrees by using space heaters, even though there is perfectly adequate and working gas baseboard hot water heat, thus blowing circuits in a 120 yr old multi building, and calling us in the middle of the night to come reset a breaker because they don't have power in part of the unit, for having overloaded the circuit with space heaters. 

The roof is in good condition and there is evaporative air units installed that seem in good condition.

That would be great, maybe over at Hot Shots sometime!

I am originally from Westchester, NY but the market down there is way too hot to get into.
