Some of the homes we sell are lose to retail prices and some of them are $10k-$15k lower then retail and what some other companies might be selling them for.We just listed a home for sale on our site for $89,900 with a very nice updated renovation that included granite in the kitchen, all new flooring, light fixtures, paint inside and out.

I started off the conversation asking him about his house and he told me that the house was built in 1997, has a newer roof (3yrs. old), newer AC (3yrs. old), new paint, new carpet, new wood floors, new tile, new fence and new fixtures.

If the association is responsible for exterior of building up to wall cavities of each unit, including mechanicals I would assume that worst case senario would involve all sheetrock, finish work, fixtures, paint and appliances.

I don't know how experienced you are but once you start to realize that A LOT of people have much lower standards than you do & would care less if you put in brand new fixtures, travertine, new appliances etc.

These old fixtures are meant to be fixed, not replaced like the junk you buy today.And I whole heartily agree, big box store employees don't know anything more than you, they just 'work here'.Plumbing fixtures is one of the things I no longer buy at Lowes.
