Hi guys,So I've been doing homework on real estate investing for a while and I am ready to put it to practice...is there anyone in the local Dallas area (preferably Cedar Hill) that would be willing to let me look over your shoulder as you work a deal or two?

Right time, right place type of thing, although I would prefer owning the entire duplex.Our longer term goals are to grow our passive income stream via buy and hold of more SFH and larger apartment complexes.  

Also do any investors use online insurance company or prefer a local agent?

Preferably 5 year.Market rent $700-$850 No Money Down. 

Preferably a multifamily with my brother and his wife in one of the other units.

When we met with the core adjustor this past week, she also brought the preferred vendor and it seemed like she was selling them hard to try to get us to use them.

Whats your experience with any of these sites though, do you prefer one over other?
