I went on from High school to join the United States Air Force and was first stationed at Seymour Johnson Air force Base in Goldsboro, NC in from 1987 to 1993.

I have tremendous flexibility, can attend my kids' school events and be there for almost every important thing.

-Do you know anything about the history of the hotel, when it was built what flag did it carry, what flags has it carried over the years etc.  

I've been listening to the podcast and reading the blog for a few months now and finally jumped into the community.I actually "house-hacked" 10 years ago when I bought a two-family while in grad school despite my parents urging me to do a "safer" single-family.

Connect with a local realtor and ask if they can provide you with a history of the property to see the last time it was listed/rented. 

I am a high school student interested in investing and real estate.

The only time you start doubling up is when you put questionable credit history/ semi recent evictions in as a hedge against them not paying.

I don't have great credit due to a lack of history but good enough to get a mortgage with a tad bit higher interest rate.
