. :)Two things, coming from someone on the "other side" of those interactions, that email chain where the LO is probably giving you short answers and moving on with their day:1) Loan officers get anywhere from 250 to 400 emails a day. 2) Loan Officers that spend all day in their email and/or texting tend to be the low producers, they just don't do a whole lot of business. 

They are some of the top producers in the country even though they put the most emphasis on the relationship with their clients.

I own in the city and it's a problem.The problem is that the city does not pick up the trash as fast as it's produced.

HVAC for instance he knows the owner of a company that produces the units so we get amazing discounts.

Sometimes producing good work means the parties to the transaction are going to be pissed off. 

As a non-cash producing asset, it's often one of the first things people look to get rid of.

I have worked in the film industry for over 18 years and I have produced, directed and photographed projects in film, commercial and music video markets.

I'm not talking about those post on here where the first time investor is posting about getting 50 doors in 90 days, almost always they will not tell you those doors are producing a net income of $30 a month, that's not an investment, that's a gamble where the "investor" is hoping for a favorable scenario when the Debt gets restructured at the end of the 7, or 10 year term, and then hoping the rent increase projections happened, hoping the vacancy turnover projections they forgot to account for don't come to fruition (you'll be amazed at how many people will have a 5% vacancy reserve, but they forget about the Unit turnover cost), Some get lucky swinging for the fences out the gate, many do not.  

@brian van pelt I agree that a 1 for 1 replacement of a manual process with a technology can yield incremental gain, but I'm talking about replacing manual process with technology AND business model innovation.

What's the best avenue to produce income in the short term while I seek employment, so that I can continue to pursue my real estate endeavors as a side hustle until I can scale it over time into a full time gig?
