If you are that back in times “cabin”, old “wood style” home with ugly fabric couches and brown wooden walls, it is hard to charge good money no matter if you are long term or short term rental.Consider accepting pets - only 40% of the cabins in Big Bear Lake do.Provide a hot tub or see if you have space for indoor jet tub - only half of the listings have the amenity.

JWB is pet-friendly, which is important to me, and they are buying and rehabilitating older houses or building new houses in many communities, which improves the community and improves the lives of the people that are able to rent these homes.

that my due diligence was a bit lacking...was in a 1031 hurry and hadn't looked into MA's landlord laws nearly well enough, and relied on a lame realtor to educate me... now I find that you cant charge late fees, eviction is expensive, (especially if you have to deal with a tenant's personal Items),  and pet rules.. it all seems like it serves no one.Anyway, I often think about N Adams, and wonder how you feel it's doing?
