I don’t want to be convinced that the quick money will be better than waiting it out for an offer that makes more sense.

I'd talk with a lot of different people including other investors, your CPA, your estate-planning attorney, and others.

The reason they sell those insurance plans is because they make a lot of money off of them.If a $1,000 unexpected expense will cause a problem for you, it may make sense to have that insurance.

Make sure buying and holding the property will make sense before taking any action though.
