There are three elements required to form a contract:  Offer (you sent it), acceptance of the offer (which you indicated that you've already received) and consideration - something of value, normally money, changes hands.  

There will be a time for it, but not now.I will tell you that there are numerous hard money lenders out there that would love to take your money and put you in a house, but you have to have an exit strategy that may require a long term lending vehicle and if you don't have it, and the house doesn't sell in time, you've added a foreclosure to your credit woes that will take 3-7 years to wash away.  

This will likely mean rising property taxes.Moreover, I don't know too many people who would go to PR and rent a vacation home given the numerous hotel options.
