The market is so hot and I can't seem to find any MFH deals that makes sense to me.On the other hand, although NW Austin doesn't have the crazy appreciation like the downtown, I found it just have the right balance of cash flow and appreciation.

The Castigliola, Renkemeyer, and Hardy cases come to mind.Review those cases and you'll soon see that SE taxation of an LLC member is a facts and circumstances analysis, and you might be surprised at some of the circumstances examined.Generally capital members of an LLC syndicate would not be subject to SE taxes, but its a good convo to have with your CPA as the facts and circumstances matter.
