Self employment tax from syndication
I am looking at investing in a syndication which is structured as an LLC and taxed as a partnership. Will I pay self employment tax from any profit on this?

Yes, but with the current tax law, if you're investing in any kind of a value add there should be much more loss than income in your K-1 :)
