We've never gotten through a delivery or install without something being damaged in the box either from being dropped, or bending down the middle, or whatever. * The last kitchen we did came in 997 (actual number) individual parts/boxes/bags.

If you want the property damaged in a partial loss to be replaced through insurance you need to buy replacement cost coverage. 

You have to right to Demand the agreed upon paperwork or enforce your right to Damages. 

If the TV mounts aren't mentioned, that might be a harder sell unless you have pictures, but anything that's actual damage not considered normal wear and tear and not just needing cleaning is fair game.

Just to throw in my two cents, often times slabs are damaged by fire and are no longer structurally sound so it needs to be evaluated.

Regular policies do not cover damages caused by "rising water" (i.e. water coming from the ground up, which is tidal surge or flooding).
