I found this group through an old co-worker but want to know if they are legit.. 

But the main difference with this company and some others is that the creator is actually a real estate investor that uses the sites himself.  

Instead, I'm looking at options to leverage a HELOC on my primary residence that I purchased with a family member as co-owner, but she lives in a different state.

I am also experiencing the same thing with not only family, but with some co-workers I consider friends as well.

I co-own a property that I intended to own alone through a DSCR program, but because the market rent is lower than projected, I ended up with a conventional loan in order to get the rate and points down for some positive cash flow (thanks to my wife and to SecurityNational Mortgage Co!).
