If the plaintiff has a title interest in that property, he/she has the right to petition the court to partition his/her interest into a separate one.If you want to stay out of court, you can try to get ahold of the smaller shares by paying the owners of nominal shares to quit-claim their interest to you.

Losses are helpful as they offset your 1040 income and you didn't lose any hard cash (yet), but gains are taxed too and you also didn't receive the hard cash (yet).The one thing I don't like about K-1s is they arrive late, often the 2nd week of April for me.Jim.

Even if it arrived this morning, I wouldn't have been concerned given their history.Make sure you're giving any state-mandated grace period  before sending the pay or quit notice, should this happen in the future.
