I think a person can do great on STR's if the know the business and strive to meet it.

I personally tend to strive the bigger challenge. 

I'm not saying don't strive to knock it out of the park on each deal...but there is an opportunity cost that is negatively impacting people that sit on the sidelines waiting for the perfect deal...and those people don't factor that cost into their numbers.

However, that is bad for our fellow residents and we should strive for a system that is good for all of us,not just a particular group of people, investors or what have you!
