I know in my area/market renovating a garage, shed, basement, or loft area could be easily done because these restrictions are almost non-existent. 

Specifically a 22×38 garage with a 10x22 2nd floor storage and a side shed addition which is 12x15.

I hope someone can help me shed light on this since I'm not very experienced in this department and I need to figure this out asap.I'm having a hard time making a decision on a Cash out Refi on a Rental Property that is in an LLC.

Mother in law unit, adu, detached garage/shed, split level, basements are all examples of ways to do this.

Would anyone be able to shed some light on their preferred method?  

I think I could add external storage lockers or sheds and rent them out or loop them into rent. 

I may be able to shed some light on what they provide.

eg. one lady had to tell me about her cats that only eat organic food, use organic litter and not not shed because they live in an organic environment....blah blah . 

This is a real issue and I would love someone out there to possibly help shed some light. 

I would hope the contractors would have some idea on how to let that water shed in that situation.
