Investing outside Florida and considering remote management and property management are viable solutions.

They are short term solutions.

Most solutions to property problems can be solved with a 3 minute phone call (plumbing / AC issues, etc).  

I'm sure if you reach out to their support team they will get back with a helpful solution.

Instead of providing helpful solutions to what may be a one-off landlord problem, there are those that will always chime in to say you should've or should now hire a PM.
