I invest there myself quite a bit (just bought another duplex last week) and do a ton outside my own portfolio as well.Definitely take the time to understand the market or interview several teams before working with anyone.I'm happy to shoot you some Detroit specific resources that would help a ton.

@Robert Medina they best way to find the right agent is to interview them and ask specific questions.1. 

and yes I now have a prescreening message for any tenant leads so they have a clear understanding of what i require and then ask them to do a prescreening phone call for an interview if they are really interested then they can fill ip the application form etc.  

You don't get into my home without a phone interview, and I let each and every guest into my home.
