Will STRs Produce the Same Cash Flow During Recession?
7 May 2019 | 13 replies
While I think nightly rates may go down during a recession, I don't anticipate a crippling hit, for a couple of reasons - 1) these drive-able destinations are going to suffer less than destinations that require flying, and 2) luxury properties will be the first to feel the hit, because those luxury travelers will start looking for mid-range properties instead.

3,600sft, gut job,100 yrsold, turning into duplex.whats ur guess?
31 October 2018 | 1 reply
If you're turning a commercial space into a duplex, I assume that's going to involve moving plumbing, moving electrical, moving HVAC, adding walls, building firewalls, etc.Assuming this is the case, so it's literally a full gut and reconfiguration, and if you're managing it yourself, I would guess you're looking at $60-80/sf for mid-level finishes.
