It would not surprise me if they were acquiring the paper and servicing rights to take an inside line on refi's for these customers if rates decline.Actually CFPB regs may NOT apply if the subject loans are investment or commercial property loans and not SFR owner occupied or consumer loans. 

It does not take that many hours to look at a property, sign a contract or even manage tenants.If you are bored in your 9-5 it's time to move on to a job where you learn and get challenged so you can grow.

@Tyler Kesling  Adding to the above great points, start with 2-4 units as it's standard conventional financing.  5+ units is commercial and somewhat of a different ballgame.   

It would be helpful to me at this time, to have about $25K in working capital for work on one of my multi-family properties.
