I did go to Church Works though.

As a matter of fact, Rick, we might have crossed paths in Bill's meetings @ the old church site. 

I only wanted them to reverse the charges and fix my credit reports.I went to hearing dressed like I was taking my strict granny to church. 

Lots of folks take these or old churches and start a business, event hall, game room or something.

No one's name is up there for attending the same church with any "suspect", or eating at the same club.

One of the biggest factors for lenders is whether or not the church is a recognized denomination or non denominational, etc.

And ya, they buy some crappy houses, and I have helped with the church on cleaning up after the tenants destroy the place so I have some first-hand experience there.
