The same day we closed on that deal, I sat down for another session of cold calling and got ahold of the owner of a sweet 20 unit complex in Dundee.

Through his connections I was approved for a line of credit and he is also sending a member of his staff to personally come to me for a 3 day one on one training session. 

However, a couple of wording choices on my inspection report caused concern with the mortgage underwriters and we had a couple back and forth sessions to fine tune the wording and myself making the repairs on a home I didn’t own.

If this topic isn't covered in any of the break-outs, it cetainly would make a good birds-of-a-feather session. :-)

If their message is more like "this is what I do, if you're interested, come see me later... now on to the rest of the meeting", then that's more legit, in my opinion.)One progression I have seen a couple of times is that the "main" speaker will talk for 60 minutes or so "for free", and then pitch a 1-day or 2-day session on an upcoming weekend that costs $50-$200 or so. 

Get the issues into the process, and make sure you a) Listen open-mindedly to their complaints, even those that seem petty, and do your best in the session to restate their concerns (without necessarily agreeing with them; "What I hear you saying is
