The rental market is hot right now so it probably wont matter, but in normal times, I like to pay a bit extra to get a 2-tone paint (tan/white trim) to make the unit stand out a bit, but again, just preference - I don't think either get you more in rent.

They're especially great at putting the fear of God into you that if you don't use a "professional" to do the work, oh, water could get into siding, and cause serious damage, and no, no, no, you don't want that...They also offer the outside trim ("zero-maintenance") wrappers for the windows that you would want a bender brake to make.

I have found a product called "5 inch lineal" that would seem to be a great option for trimming out the exterior of new windows.

To widen the driveway, I'd like to trim half of a 10 foot tall and maybe 7-8 ft wide privacy hedge (my adjoining neighbor is ok with that).One issue I'm running into - talking with others it's possible that the machines used to help trim (and tear out?)

New lighting and faucets added throughout, all wood floors were stained in gun stock, and all interior walls were repainted with a darker gray in bedrooms and a lighter gray in common areas with a bright white trim.

It's just got to be trimmed back after a year or so to keep it from spreading too far out- these are the ones that you can shape into squares, cones, etc.

Only trouble was estimating the repairs as there are apparently some code violations that would need to fixed like rotted wood trim and a broken concrete chimney.
