I like to call it "Ostrich Syndrome".  

The reason I ask is because I know myself included along with many others get the "shiny object syndrome" and want to jump into the first thing they hear about that can make them a lot of money with seemingly no risk.

I got bitten by the shiny object syndrome when I got out of the Military, so I was not able to save up for a down payment.  

I’d probably say greener grass syndrome for sure.

However, try to keep on blinders when it comes to shiny object syndrome.

Should I get over my new home syndrome and consider older homes?

Avoid the "shiny object syndrome" by narrowing down your niche as soon as possible.

Most people your age lost interest in things very easily and have what I call “shiny object syndrome”.

I have what I call "chasing rabbit syndrome".

I am a woman in construction for most of my life now and I still get the "good 'ol boy" syndrome from time to time.
