I prefer a space that's older and out of date as I don't need modern updates and the aesthetic of our build is purposely grungy, but I can't seem to find anything in the commercial real estate space/via loopnet or the like.

Nothing else major was added and altered except for some aesthetic changes.

Hi BP Heads,I have a duplex down, kitchen, bath,  and garage project in mind in the north area ( I had been postponing for a few years) and kitchen/bath, aesthetics renovation in Little Village.

We made some minor aesthetic changes to the home and fixed the place up a bit, but by far the biggest factor that has affected the value of this home has been time, location, and remarkable appreciation.

If you are considering a short-term rental in Joshua Tree the design style and aesthetics are super important, if you aren't into the local interior design trends you might consider partnering with someone that is. 

Be sure to check your local permitting office for delays and specific areas of genitrification to see if the city has requirements such as sidewalk additions or aesthetic requirements due to a "historic" context they want to keep.

I was also interested in some aesthetic changes like faux brick walls, warm colors, new bathroom vanities, etc.

As a buy and hold investor mine are: safety (first), security (second), function (third), and aesthetics (looks are last).  

Benefit 1: This is the biggest factor I bought the mustang Mach-e besides the aesthetics.
