My concern us that the contracting company is owned by the property manager.

If you are investing out of state, then do you already have a good property manager lined up? 

If you feel like you’re managing your property manager, it’s a strong sign that the manager may not be the right fit.

What really hooked me was they are the asset/construction managers and have the crews and access to project managers.
