As for liens, here in Milwaukee, if you sell a property any unsettled small claims judgments have to be taken care of prior to or at closing....that can be city taxes, old utility bills, medical bills, etc.

Don't know what will do, I feel like we have two problem: 1) the project is not finished yet, it's a little un-settleing 2) there's not much inventory out there for a house we'd have to live in and fix up at the same time.
