I want to be able to have multiple family members own the property, but what I want to avoid is a partial owner trying to force the sale at market value without unanimous agreement from shareholders.

If the concerns can be addressed, they can usually be put in writing, defined and agreed courses of action required.You could also define certain admin functions that would require unanimous consent of all members/partners to change or modify, those matters would then be under your control.

Good lawyer's disagree about the requirements of the law more often than they agree, as is demonstrated by the fact that there are considerably more dissenting opinions written by appellate level lawyers (judges) than there are unanimous agreements.

I think it's unanimous you can't get solid deals regularly from the auction itself, but it is quite feasible if you catch it before the sale ;D

So today I texted everyone back with a unanimous rejection about either how “small the place was” or “this isn’t what they were looking for” in the listing it does say a 600 square foot studio apartment.

I think the consensus is unanimous that it's better and safer to just return the deposit minus reasonable costs, even when the renter breaks the lease.
